In 2024 we will be jumping head first into our fundraising campaign for the Mpower Community Hub at Wangoom Road.
Mpower have signed up to My Giving Circle, a social enterprise who work with donors and philanthropists to give out high volumes of money each year to not for profits and community groups. Each charity can register (just like we have). Then anyone can go in and vote for a charity of their choice. You can vote once per week.
At the end of each voting campaign, the top 10 charities are given a share of the total amount on offer. Any charity that does not win a grant has their votes carried over to the next round, for one round, to help as many charities as possible receive a grant.
When you vote on the website, https://mygivingcircle.org/mpower-inc, you will be sent an email to verify your vote, you have to click on that link to have your vote recognised.
