Mpower is a well-established, successful, accredited not-for-profit community based organisation servicing the populations in the south-west of Victoria.  Mpower has been providing a range of services to individuals and families in the south-west for 45 years.

 

The organisation emerged to meet the needs of families of children with disabilities in the Warrnambool region at a time when only institutional models and city-based services were available.

 

Over time, the operation of Mpower has grown from a small voluntary service to an accredited agency employing in excess of 80 staff and providing a range of support services to over 1200 families regionally.

EXECUTIVE AND ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

Do you have a passion for ensuring high quality services are delivered across an organisation? If so, you will love working in this newly created role. Primarily supporting our newly appointed CEO, this position will be the key point of contact for communication in and out of the CEO office. Having an overall understanding of how the organisation works and managing information flow in a timely and accurate manner will ensure the success of this position. This role will also work closely with the People and Culture Manager and be involved in the day to day recruitment, selection and onboarding activities.

About the Early Childhood Intervention Team:

Mpower’s Early Childhood Intervention Services are provided by a multidisciplinary team including Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Early Childhood Teachers, Behaviour Support Practitioners and Assistants. With a growing demand on services our team is looking to expand across a range of services.

  • A passion for mentoring other Occupational Therapists to develop their skills is essential for the Senior OT position.
