Mpower Community Fair to become an annual celebration following 50-year milestone
Following the success of Mpower’s 50-year celebration and the wonderful community spirit it created, Mpower is excited to announce the launch of the Mpower Community Fair – a new annual event bringing local families, supporters and the wider community together.
The inaugural Mpower Community Fair will be held from 4.30pm to 6.30pm on Friday, 27 November 2026, with free giveaways, entertainment, a BBQ, face painting and plenty of family fun. And the best part? It’s all FREE!
Mpower’s 50-year celebration last year highlighted the strong connection the organisation has built with the south-west Victorian community over five decades. The event brought together people who have been part of Mpower’s journey, from families and staff to supporters, partners and community members.
Building on that success, the Mpower Community Fair will provide an opportunity each year to come together, connect and celebrate the community that continues to support Mpower and the people and families it serves.
Mpower CEO Janette Lowe said the annual fair was a natural way to continue the spirit of the 50-year celebrations.
“Our 50-year celebration was a wonderful reminder of just how important community is to Mpower and how important Mpower is to the community. It brought together so many people who have been part of our story, and we wanted to build on that. The Mpower Community Fair will give us an opportunity to open our doors, bring people together and celebrate the connections that make our community so special.”
There’s plenty more to come! Further activities and attractions will be announced in the lead-up to the Mpower Community Fair. Follow Mpower on social media or visit www.mpower.org.au for all the latest updates.
