This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a group of young people living in a residential setting. With an emphasis on family and person-centred care, this role supports clients to live in a home setting. Support workers provide round the clock care with no two days the same. Cooking meals, readying young people for school, drop offs and pickups, organising and planning of activities, community visits, attendance at appointments all while promoting choice, participation and skill development are the key areas of this role.
This position requires applicants willing to work flexible hours (mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight and some Public Holidays). A prerequisite of this position is completion of Certificate IV Child Youth and Family Intervention, enrolled and current course students are encouraged to apply.
