HIGH FLYERS & SOCIAL CLUB FOR 18+

High Flyers and Social Clubs are social groups for adults with disability or high functioning autism and provide the opportunity to have fun and social, form new friendships and social networks through a range of recreational activities.

• We are offering social groups for ages 18-25 years commencing in November.
• Both High Flyers & Social Club will run fortnightly
• Activities of these new groups will be focused on increased social and community participation, going out and about.

   

ACTIVE OCEANS for 18+

Active Oceans will kick off in 2022.  Active Oceans is a water based recreation program that provides increased social and community participation, with water safety at its heart.

Activities will include:

• Rowing
• Dragon or Whale Boating
• Fishing
• Beach Sports (cricket, volley ball etc)
• Beach walks

Programs are designed to suit the needs of any group or individual participants.  Skills from Active Oceans activities help foster a sense of achievement and confidence.

ADULT COOKING SESSIONS

We are beginning a brand new Adults Cooking Class offered three days a week.

This is the first weekday adults program Mpower has offered.

Activities will include:

• Supermarket to shop for ingredients
• Preparing a meal to share with other participants
• Dining together
• Kitchen safety and cooking skills
